Arone Dyer and Aron Sanchez–and their homemade instruments–make up the undefinable band Buke & Gase. Their new album, General Dome, was recorded with the instruments that make up their name: a “buke” (a baritone ukulele) and a “gase” (a guitar-bass hybrid). The album will be released next Tuesday on Brassland Records but you can stream it in full now over at NPR.org.
Buke & Gase will play at Johnny Brenda’s on Friday, February 1st. Philly’s own Norwegian Arms will open the show. Tickets are available here.
