Amor De Días announce spring tour dates in support of new sophomore LP

Amor de Días (Spanish for “love of days”), the collaboration between Alasdair MacLean of The Clientele and vocalist Lupe Núñez-Fernández of Pipas, will release their sophomore LP The House at Sea next week on Merge Records. Following up 2011’s debut, Street of the Love of Days, the duo recorded the new album with Brian O’Shaughnessy (My Bloody Valentine, Primal Scream) in nine days. As their bio explains,

The House at Sea is a snapshot of a year’s songs written in London and Madrid. There are pop songs, delirious dream accounts, strange lyrical puzzles, and stories from the city and the suburbs. The theme of the sea threads its way throughout the record along with a gentle sense of drifting and departure, of being lost, of saudade?a sadness at lost things.

Amor De Días have announced a supporting North American tour in the spring that will stop in Philly on March 23rd. They’ll play an intimate show in the First Unitarian Church’s Side Chapel. Tickets are on sale now and available here. Full tour dates are below, along with their new single “Jean’s Waving.”
