Hailing from New Brunswick, New Jersey, The Gaslight Anthem have built up a strong reputation with their Springsteen-meets-The Killers punk style. And I mean in a completely positive way. The first song I ever heard from these guys was “Great Expectations,” the opening jam on their sophomore LP The ’59 Sound, and it’s since been one of my favorites. They’ve got a new album called Handwritten out now, their fourth studio full-length, but I felt more like sharing this old song today. Stream it below (and the whole album here).
