Boston-based duo You Won’t (Josh Arnoudse and Raky Sastri) played nine shows in five days during CMJ last month and went home with some important new fans. NPR, The New York Times, SPIN, and Paste Magazine all took to the duo’s charming and “friendly sound,” as NPR’s Bob Boilen described it.
Their debut album Skeptic Goodbye is streaming via Bandcamp and has been growing and growing on me over the past couple of weeks. “Who Knew” is one of my favorites and a good introduction to their sound. Stream it and watch the video below, then see the duo live at Johnny Brenda’s this Friday night. They’re opening for Pearl and The Beard; tickets are available here.
