Send your congratulations along to Nasvhille’s Kopecky Family Band, who announced today that they have signed to ATO Records. KFB are one of our favorite bands here, and ATO has been a consistently great label since its inception in 2000, so we’re very excited to see this union. They are now label-mates with My Morning Jacket, Alabama Shakes, Gomez, Hey Rosetta!, and many more great artists. ATO will reissue KFB’s debut album Kids Raising Kids, which was originally self-released this past fall, on April 2nd.
Kopecky Family Band are gearing up for a busy month of March with more than 20 shows scheduled in the month—including a stop at SXSW. They will kick off their summer the best way anyone can—at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware. The festival takes place on June 21st, 22nd and 23rd; more information can be found here.
KFB have been in Philly a lot over the past year, playing at Johnny Brenda’s last April, then at Milkboy last June, October and just a few weeks ago. Find our coverage of all of those shows here.
