Shout Out Louds announce new album & spring tour (playing Union Transfer)

Swedish indie-pop group Shout Out Louds have announced that they will release their fourth LP, titled Optica, on February 26th. The band self-produced the album (with some help from Johannes Berglund) in a small studio in Stockholm, recording over the span of one-and-a-half years. The press release describes the theme as “celebrating color and light from a band confident in its sound, filled with real strings, trombones, trumpets and flutes.”

The band will celebrate the release with a show in Brooklyn on March 11th before returning to the states in May for a 10-date tour. That tour begins on May 7th in D.C. and stops in Philadelphia on the 8th for a show at Union Transfer. Tickets will go on sale this Friday at noon via TicketFly.
