Christopher Owens, the former frontman of indie darlings Girls, will release his debut solo LP, Lysandre, next week on Fat Possum. The album follows the narrative concept of Owens falling in love with a French woman named Lysandre during Girls’ first tour. The New York Times has posted an in-depth feature article about Owens and the album, and along with it you can stream the album in its entirety. Check it out here.
Owens will begin touring in support of Lysandre next week and will stop in Philadelphia on January 26th for a show at Union Transfer. More information and tickets are available here.
